With more than 30 years of legal experience, Deon Perold is a seasoned commercial litigation and corporate law specialist in Cape Town, South Africa. He holds a BA LLB from the University of Cape Town and was admitted as an attorney in 1990 — building a foundation of expertise that underpins his leadership of the firm.

In 1993, Deon founded Deon Perold & Associates after serving as a director at a prominent Cape Town law firm. His vision was to create a boutique but powerful legal practice capable of delivering high-level commercial advice with personalised service. Over the decades, he has guided a range of high-profile clients through litigation, restructuring, capital raising, and complex commercial transactions.

Welcome. I’m Melissa Bester. With nearly two decades of experience at Deon Perold & Associates Incorporated, I combine a deep legal background with a compassionate, client-first approach. As both an attorney and a qualified conveyancer, I’m dedicated to guiding my clients through complex legal journeys — particularly in property law.
